Welcome to the Sutton and District badminton league website.
The league is formed from clubs who play roughly within 10 miles of Sutton, Surrey.
It's a popular league where rules are kept to a minimum (e.g. players do not need to be registered).
Current costs per season are £4 to register your club and 50p for each team.
If your club is interested in entering a team, please contact Neil Bartlett.
Rough schedule: Applications mid-August, Fixtures/AGM meeting early/mid September, Matches played October to April.
The new season is nearly upon us! Apply to join the coming 2024-25 season now.
If you choose your club from the drop down list, last seasons information will be displayed for you, making it the easiest way to apply.
Applications close on Sunday 8th September 2024.

The AGM/presentation/fixtures meeting is on Friday 13th September 2024 at New Malden Sports Club, Somerset Close, New Malden, Surrey KT3 5RG.
Doors open from 7.00pm for fixture arranging, AGM starts at 8.00pm.

Tournaments and Sessions
The Moorman Cup is unlikely to be played over the summer this season.
Cup teams consist of 2 men and 2 ladies. A match consists of 5 events in NBL format - Ladies and mens singles, ladies and mens doubles and mixed.

It's a good, fun team tournament format, lasting just over 4 hours with good team support.
